After four years traveling the world, this question has to be the BIG one. The one everyone asks me. Yet, for some reason, I’ve never thought of posting it online; so here it is. The best places in the world according to David. Me. I’m David. Hello! π
So, I numbered these 1 β 5, however, depending on the day, the order changes! So, perhaps, ignore the numbers… I could remove them, but where is the fun in that?
Exploring the waterfalls of Bali
Waterfalls, jungle, beaches, temples, surfing, diving, islands, snorkeling, paddle boarding, jungle swings, beach clubs, cliff clubs, crazy scooter driving. I do not know where to start! This place is just hands down amazing and a must visit. Don’t believe me? Just go visit my Instagram!
Sand boarding in Utah @ the Coral Pink Sand Dunes
America has it all, literally, you want it, America has it. For me, America spends most of its life in the number one spot for purely that reason. No state or city, in particular, could find its way on to this list, but as a country, it really has any climate or landscape you could wish to see.
Sailing a traditional Viking ship
Norway was so beautiful, fun and filled with amazing people I ended up living here full-time for a year. Some of our the roadtrips will go down as legends, nay, myths. This country is just stunning and I’ve barely scratched the surface of what it can offer. If I was to ever stop traveling, this is where I would live.
Living in a Treehouse in Tulum was pretty damn special
Tulum was stunning, so many water sports and activities mixed with a rich culture and my favorite food in all the world. Not to mention this place is insanely cheap and extremely hipster. If you ever need a place to camp out the rainy seasons of Bali, this is it.
View from the top of Table Mountain
Cape Town is a city like most others, however, Africa is not a continent like any other. I mean, they have fucking lions! A beautiful place to spend your working hours and a really good hub to explore what South Africa has to offer. It is also jaw droppingly beautiful.
There you have it! My top five places in the world as of 2017. If you’ve not explored any of the above, trust me, they’re worth a visit and won’t let you down!
