Speaking of your next Thai adventure, here it is: Bangkok! And boy, is this capital filled with adventures. There are temples, of course, as well as canals going through the city which are perfect for both getting to know the area as well as its history. You can also go surfing, without even leaving the city!
Seriously, this place is truly amazing. You can spend a whole day in Bangkok National Museum admiring the beautiful history of Thailand in artform, or go see puppets and their puppeteers bring an old Thai folk tale to life, you need to make sure that you don’t miss the markets and the scrumptious street food.. As you can see, Bangkok really is full of adventures.
Here’s another fantastic location so packed with amazing things that it would need a whole post to itself (luckily, there is one!). This huge capital has a very rich culture which started well before the Spanish arrived and is still very much alive today. Go visit ancient ruins and pyramids, wander around the Frida Kahlo museum and boat on the canals in Little Venice – these are just a few of many, many more fantastic places to experience.
There are markets of all kinds – traditional, artisan and even one that specializes in magic and the occult, and you simply must try some of the fantastic street food: tacos, tamales,
Colombia’s second-biggest city might seem like a bit of a wild card, but give it a visit and you’ll agree that it should, nay, needs to be on this list. In just a few decades Medellín has transformed from a drug inferno into a charming, innovative city with the biggest heart – and lots of fun to be done.
Being located on a hillside, paragliding is at the top of amazing things to do in Medellín, and so is visiting the interactive parks, going salsa dancing and, of course, trying the delicious Colombian cuisine. Despite being a relatively new player on the digital nomad field, Medellín is a hotspot for new businesses and has lots of opportunities for co-living – how great is that!?
Another fantastic location, the capital of the Czech Republic is also – believe it or not – packed with amazing things to do. Stroll along cobbled streets, go pedal boating on river Vltava – yes, there are swan boats – and be amazed by the beautiful architecture and landmarks such as the Charles bridge, the Astrological clock and the Prague castle.
Fancy some more recent history and culture? No problem – the Lennon Wall bears graffiti and messages dedicated to the Beatle’s memory and Prague is home to a very much alive music scene – and let’s not forget about the food! If you’re a soup enthusiast with a sweet tooth, then you’re definitely in the right place.
Ready for another fantastic European capital? Great, because Portugal’s Lisbon is certainly ready for you! With the great Atlantic as a neighbor, there’s no wonder that this city has many, many amazing beaches for both surfing and swimming, and for a little cultural tour, you can go on one of the iconic trams.
The cultural experience doesn’t stop there – Lisbon is full of amazing, majestic monuments and at the Tile Museum you can see how the area has changed over the centuries – one thing that hasn’t changed, though, is the fact that you can get some delicious, tasty food. You’re going, right?
Deciding which of these amazing locations to start with must be one of the more pleasant conundrums to ponder upon, because they all have so much to offer! And the best part is that these cities aren’t going anywhere so there’s lots of time to visit them all – unless you fall head over heels for one of them and don’t want to leave, of course. Do you have a favorite place that you keep coming back to? Please, let us know!

Oh, and both cities will look fantastic on your Insta feed.
